Packaging

Bundle
The unit comes in a small box that is adorned with a list of the features of the cooling system. There are two sides of features listing all the various features of the CoolIT Domino ALC. Once the box is open, you'll notice the packaging is in a plastic clamshell box with foam protecting the coolant. The unit is self-contained, requiring no reservoir for the coolant.

The first thing you should know about this unit is the fact that it supports both the new LGA-1366 processors and the LGA-775 CPUs. While the Core i7 was released last year there are few CPU coolers on Newegg with the necessary brackets for the new interface. CoolIT has in fact pre-installed the LGA-1366 mount. They include two motherboard back plates for LGA-1366 and also the LGA-775 interface. There is also an AMD Retention bracket for those having an AMD CPU. The fan mounts are preinstalled with two spare fan mounts. There are also four motherboard standoffs and four 10-24 Phillips screws to complete the package.

The unit itself is all black. The front of the radiator has the name of the cooler, the Domino ALC. There is also a LCD screen which lights up on the front of the unit that becomes the top of the unit when mounted. The rear of the radiator has a 120mm fan with 4 fan mounting screws. This part of the unit goes to the rear 120mm fan holding area of the case. To mount it simply push the screws against the mounting holes. Three lines for the fan RPM, the pump speed and the temperature show up on the LCD when the unit is in operation. There is a tube that goes to the CPU mount and another tube to the radiator which pumps the liquid through the tubes to keep the CPU cool.
