Opening the case up you can see that Lian-LI has taken to rounding all the edges with a shroud-like metal piece covering the drive areas. This is to protect the computer user from cutting themselves on sharp edges while installing an optical drive. All of the edges have rubber coverings so even if you accidentally hit the edge you won't get cut in any way while operating the case. Under the 4 5.25" drive bays are two 3.5" drive bays, one for the FDD and the other for another HDD in addition to the three below that. Note Lian-Li includes a separate 3.5" anti-vibration kit so you can install another HDD into this spot without fear of vibration. Another word here about the anti-vibration HDD racks. Removing thumb screws and sliding out the drawer is all it takes to remove a HDD. To secure the HDD you can either use the cushions or add screws for more security. The motherboard tray is not removable, but I wouldn't expect that from a Mid-Tower ATX case anyway. You can install m-ATX or Standard ATX motherboards in this area. Note the removable PSU unit allows easy installation or removal of the PSU after the motherboard is installed. The top of the case also comes off easily with the removal of two screws. There is a 120mm rear fan installed below that is the IO area and the seven PCI slots are next to the fan. Note that the covers are held into place by screws.
