Thermaltake includes a full manual to put together a system with the DH-101 case. The system that was built included a Gigabyte MA-790-DS4 motherboard, 2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-1067MHz memory, a AMD X4 9350 Quad Core CPU, a combination LG Blu-Ray/HD-DVD player, a WD 1TB Caviar HDD for storage and a ATI Radeon HD 2900XT video card. This system should be powerful enough to run everything with ease with plenty of space to record TV shows if necessary.

After removing the thumb screws and taking the cover off, you need to remove the metal bar to get at the drive racks. To install a 5.25" drive into the rack simply remove the metal bar, the 3.5" drive rack and release the 5.25" drive bay by releasing three springs on the front door. After drive insertion into the bay and securing the 5.25" drive with screws place the HDD cage back secure the HDD cage and push the front door back to position. Installing a HDD is tool less, simply pull out the clip insert the HDD and push the tool less clip back into place.

Installation of the motherboard is done exactly as any other case. Insert screw standoffs into the appropriate holes, insert the IO back plate insert the motherboard and screw it into place. The case fits any standard ATX or Micro ATX motherboard. As there are seven full-height PCI openings on the rear of the case, the case will work with virtually any Standard ATX motherboard which has 7 or less PCI slots. Once everything is plugged in including the SATA cables, the power plugs and the audio, it is time to close the case back up and turn on the computer for the first time.
