The DH-101 VF7001BNS case is a black case that Thermaltake says has a Piano finish on both the outside and the inside of the case. The top of the case has a grill as well as the right and left sides of the case. This should provide adequate cooling for a small enclosure. The rear of the case has the space for the PSU, the 7 slots for expansion devices, the back plate and two small 60mm fans covered by more grills.

Thermaltake decided to use gold plated feet on the bottom of the case to hold the case upright. The case has four feet that are shaped like a round cylinder. The Front Panel IO on the DH-101 has two USB 2.0 ports, two ports for the HD Audio connections and a Firewire port. They are located beneath a access cover.

The front of the case has a VFD LCD, ten optional buttons, the CD cover and a volume control. The Power button is on the bottom left side of the case. The LCD can display several languages including English, German, French and others. The LCD can display an equalizer that plays when audio is playing whether from a CD or a MP3. The VFD also can display Volume and playback information and has a spinning disc when the CD is in place.
