Thermaltake DH-101 VF7001BNS Case Review :: DH-101 Bundle
Thermaltake's box design is a blue colored cardboard box with a picture of the unit on the front and a list of the features on the front as well. The side has a picture with two models the VF7000BNS and the VF7001BNS which I'm reviewing here. The other side of the box has a list of the supported languages that the DH-101 supports. Thermaltake includes everything that you need to get started with a new case including the screws, standoffs and a cleaning cloth. As the finish on the case is a Piano Mirror finish, the case will likely attract fingerprints, so the cleaning cloth is necessary. The other components of the bundle include a remote control and application CD along with the batteries to power the remote control. The iMedian remote has the following buttons on it: Application Exit, Stop, Play, Eject, fast backward, fast forward, pause, step forward, step backward. Under those buttons is a D-pad with a mouse/keyboard button, a select /space button, a backspace button, a left click button, an enter button, a right click button. Under that is an escape/clear button, an application launcher, a task switcher and the CD Eject button. The remote is a fully functional remote that can control everything on the PC with a click. Thermaltake includes a Media CD containing the software necessary to run the DH-101 case, the media player and the remote control. There is two pieces of software included with the Application CD iMon and iMedian. iMon controls the LCD on the front of the case and the remote control buttons. The IMON Manager has settings for the Remote Control, Program Commands, Windows Command, Custom Command, Macro Command and Speed. You have the option of using IMON to control the System, News, Webcasting, 3rd party software and update the system from the option menu. The IMON Utilities include Application Launcher, FrontView, Virtual Keyboard, Timer and Resolution Change. From the Application Launcher you can launch IMEDIAN, FrontView, Timer and various other applications just like a Start Menu under Windows. The IMEDIAN software is functionally identical to the Media Center software found in Windows Media Center. Contents:
