Palit Revolution 700 Deluxe Radeon HD 4870 X2 Review

The HD 4870 X2 is a beast of a video card, with performance that outstrips that of the GeForce GTX 280 in most applications where the CPU is not the limiting factor. Currently, the Palit Revolution 700 Deluxe Radeon HD 4870 X2 is a good buy for those wanting a quiet fast video card to run the latest games at a reasonable price for the highest end card on the market. Palit's card runs absolutely silently even under the heaviest load. The dual cooling fan solution does the job with stable temperatures even when overclocked. The main negatives of this card are that it takes up three slots on the motherboard which limits expansion options. What you get is a great card with great performance in today's games and the performance to run the latest DirectX 10.1 games with ease as there are two HD 4870 chips on the card each with its own memory buffer. This is a definite Hot Product for the holiday buying season.
