One of the hottest games on the market today is Far Cry 2 and XFX decided to include a full copy of the game with the XFX GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition card. The inclusion of a game in a bundle is both a blessing and a curse to the video card maker, as if the card doesn't sell as expected then the card maker will have many thousands of copies of old games as the game doesn't last forever as a AAA title, relegating itself to the bargain bin in a short period of time.

The rest of the bundle is the standard fare of a XFX card with a 6-pin to 2 Molex power connector, a HDMI to DVI adapter, a HDMI cable, a DVI to VGA adapter and a S-Video out cable along with the Driver CD. This bundle is excellent as it allows the end-user to use up to two monitors whether it is a HDMI+DVI or two DVI or a VGA+DVI or HDMI+VGA with the included adapters.

NVIDIA is launching a new driver set today that they call the Big Bang II. This driver revision carries a host of performance improvements over the previous version and integrates PhysX support straight into the NVIDIA Control Panel instead of having the control for PhysX separate from the CP. This allows the user to control whether they want PhysX enabled easier than the previous way of opening up Programs, NVIDIA, PhysX Properties and disabling or enabling it.
