The HD4350 and 9400GT are for the very casual gamers that want to play games like Command and Conquer 3, EVE Online, World of Warcraft and other games that don’t require a lot of graphics horsepower. If you are buying either card for strictly gaming I strongly suggest moving up one or two steps to the next higher card as you’ll have a much better experience with the cards. I’ve been playing a lot of EVE Online recently, a MMORPG set in space. The Premium content version of the game features DirectX 9.0 Shaders and is much more detailed. Both the HD 4350 and the 9400GT play this game very well with frame rates in the 20s with normal resolution and settings. Note, that AA and AF are not enabled when playing the game to run smoothly. The second game I’ve played a lot of recently is Command And Conquer 3 Kane’s Wrath. This game stars Joseph Kucan as the recurring character Kane in the expansion to the best-selling Command And Conquer 3 that was released earlier this year. The game played smoothly on both cards with no problems as to frame rates until large numbers of tanks and troops were deployed. Tomb Raider Anniversary is a perfect example of a game that these cards were designed for. The game uses DirectX 9.0 Shaders and is a re-interpretation of the original Tomb Raider game that first came out on the Playstation game console. The HD 4350 and 9400GT played this game without issues up to 1280x1024 which is pretty good for a $40-50 video card. Game screenshots
