The components for this system build are all high-end components with even the dual 36GB WD Raptor HDDs being the lowest-end of the bunch but still top performers. The motherboard installed easily after removing the side door and mounting it. The CPU cooler fit easily without issue on the motherboard but Thrasher2 couldn’t fit the 120mm fan over it due the height of the CPU cooler. The rest of the system build was easy with cabling a breeze due to the hole for the cables to go from the motherboard to the PSU and the HDD cage, the wiring that Thrasher did looked very clean. A full-length GeForce GTX280 from Palit fit without issue as to length or cabling. The 8-pin and 6-pin power connectors on the card are on the top so it won’t interfere with drive cabling. The power supply was an easy fit with the normal four screws holding the PSU into place. Lian Li includes a funnel that covers the outer PSU so that the sound from the PSU fan is muted. The entire case is designed with this theme in mind as the insulation and the HDD racks all have the theme of lowering the ambient noise from a running system. Contents:
