Removable motherboard trays are a must for any high-end motherboard. The Cooler Master Stacker 830 comes with one that slides in and out of the case with a slide guide. One small annoyance is the included guide for installing motherboards. It’s a paper guide that is hard to remove due t the blue tape that holds it into place. There’s a 120mm fan mounted on the rear of the case.

The motherboard tray can hold micro ATX, ATX and Extended ATX motherboards. Mounting is easily accomplished by screwing in the nuts, mounting the motherboard into place and screwing the screws in. I do have a question as to how well an EATX motherboard will fit into the case but without one laying around I’ll give Cooler Master the benefit of the doubt.

The case has four 3.5” drive bays for the hard disks via a 4-in-3 drive module included with the bundle. Drive installation is tool less with tabs that you push to remove the drive and mount the drive by pushing the drive into the slot you want to use. The sliding lock locks the drive into place. I love the tool less case design as it alleviates the number of screws that I have to mess around with.
