The Warfare case is painted in a camouflage pattern that is similar to what the military wears in uniform. There are painted on bullet holes all over the case, as if someone shot at the case with a machine gun. The bottom of the case has the CSX logo and the number of the case. In this instance the Warfare is number 30 of 200 in the world.

The top of the case has the IO of the case. The Stacker 830 has 2 USB ports, a Reset button and the Power button on the IO. Just below that is more IO. Here you find two more USB 2.0 ports, the Mic and Headphone jacks and an IEEE-1394 port for Firewire. The inclusion of four USB 2.0 ports is welcome with the only thing missing from this ensemble being an external SATA port.

The left hand side of the case has a window. Attached to the window is a four fan enclosure that can hold up to 4 120mm fans. This enclosure cools the motherboard, CPU, graphics card etc area of the case. Cooler Master says that up to nine fans can be attached to this case. The camouflage motif is present on the left side of the case as well.

The back of the case has the openings for the PSU, motherboard expansions and a 120mm fan. The PSU is mounted on the top of the case, the normal position. There are seven holes for the mounting of expansion cards on the motherboard on the rear. The rear of the case is also where you have the handles to open the side doors, just press the latch and you’re good to open the case.

There are nine 5.25 drive bays on the Warfare with two removable 3.5” face plates for the FDDs. This is more than most people will ever use, but it’s nice to have the expansion if you need it. These drives are mounted via sliding rails that mount the drive by clicking into place. Tool less drive installation is a definite plus of the case.
