Overclocking of the card was very successful. From the default clock speed of 800MHz900MHz, I was able to take the card to an amazing 910MHz945MHz corememory clock speed. This is almost a 200MHz overclock over the standard HD3650! The temperatures read by ATI’s Overdrive utility at that speed was about 44C idle and 56C when running a game. The Glaciator operates as advertised keeping the card cool when run in overclocked mode. The Glaciator also has the advantage of low noise from its fan which is a welcome change from many reference fans on video cards.
