Well the only way to really tell how something works is to install it and run some tests in a real world environment and then throw a little overclocking in the mix for a little more than standard testing, just to see how well it performs for the enthusiast. Anthony our in-house tech junkie assembled a nice system for this round of tests and the system came out clean, albeit a bit subdued form his usual mods. No cutting, drilling or other modifications were needed like other products have required just getting the cooling system in the system.

Open air test benches are okay, but not really where you get the best results as almost all systems are in an enclosed case, where airflow is limited by design and construction of the system. A system should be designed with constant fresh air-flow blowing through the systems interior and across the drives and VGA cards.  This system was knocked out in a few hours and offers decent air-flow and moderate system temps. The only difficulty encountered on the installation was the attachment of the cooling block of the Eliminator to the CPU base, as the clamps were a bit of problem to get aligned and attached properly, but beyond that it was fairly ergonomic to install. The Eliminator requires a standard PSU connection as its power source and offers three setting L-M-H. We left the selector in the middle position for all tests.
