XFX includes the very highly successful Call of Duty 4 (one of the top ten best-selling 2007 PC games according to NPD Research. Call of Duty 4 is a DirectX 9.0 class graphics game which hardly stresses the 9800GX2; however, it still looks and plays well for a DX9 game. The rest of the software bundle consists of the Driver CD.

This particular driver CD contains ForceWare 174.40 drivers. Driver CDs usually are behind the reference drivers, as NVIDIA has launched the 175.16 Forceware drivers I would suggest using that version. Also on the Driver CD is a copy of earlier Force ware drivers that support the 9800GX2 and Adobe Acrobat to read PDFs.

Bundle

Hardware wise the video card comes with two DVI to D-Sub adapters which are used to convert the signal from the Dual Link DVI ports to an analog signal from a CRT. Also included is power cable that attaches to Molex connectors for PSUs that don’t have a 6-pin power connector. XFX includes a User’s Manual and a Do Not Disturb I’m Gaming door hanger with their card.
