CoolerMaster Centurion 590 Case Review :: Setup
Installation on the CoolerMaster Centurion 590 case was a snap and Thrasher2 the technician that did the system builds had no issues with installing the motherboard or other computer components. There was an issue with the Cooler master water-cooling kit that he had laying around, as the tubes wouldn’t go through the water-cooling holes, but that was a minor issue. The spacing between the drive bays and the HDD cage is excellent. Installing a 9800GX2 into the case proved no issue as to card length as the card did not interfere with SATA cables. Some cases have the issue of the length of the distance between the HDD cage and the edge of the case being insufficient for long length video cards, but this was not the case with the Centurion 590. The case HDD cage was easy to work with. To install a 3.5” HDD, simply remove the cage, insert the HDD into the cage, screw in the screws and return the cage back to the case. The case was a joy to work with especially since each drive bay has a sliding lock which allows the system builder to insert the drive without using a screw for the 5.25” drives.
Here are the components for the system build:
