Diamond Radeon HD3650 1GB Review :: Diamond HD3650 1GB Bundle
The front of the box has a picture of Ruby on the right hand side. There is a window to view the card inside the box and the name of the card, the amount of memory, and Windows Vista Certification logo. The rear of the box has the main features of the card including the support of HD Entertainment, AVIVO, Crossfire-X, and XDNA, Diamond’s software to allow Crossfire on NVIDIA motherboards that don’t normally support Crossfire.
Diamond Multimedia video cards used to come with cool game bundles before they reappeared on the market as part of Best Data Products. The Monster 3D card came with 20 games and game demos and was an excellent buy for the new user as the game bundle took advantage of the 3D features of the then new Voodoo Graphics chipset from 3DFX. Today, few Diamond graphics cards come with games, an unfortunate side-effect of cutting costs and the competition. The 3650 1GB comes with no games as part of its bundle.
Hardware-wise the Diamond HD3650 1GB card comes with a DVI-to-D-sub adapter and that’s it. Keep in mind, that the card has a HDMI port already, meaning that to run two DVI monitors, you’ll need to purchase an adapter. The included DVI to D-sub adapter allows you to run two CRT monitors without an additional purchase. This is the best of all worlds, as it gives the widest possible range of connections to monitors without sacrificing space on the PCB. Contents:
