The motherboard we used for testing was a brand new MSI K9A Platinum board we received from MSI for the express purpose of testing the new CPU. Everything else on the test platform was the same as the Phenom X3 9750 review so it should provide an interesting comparison. AMD says there’s an issue with Sysmark 2007 and the new CPU, so that test was not run for this review as Bapco has not yet released a patch for triple cores. CPUBench 2003 was unable to install and is not therefore tested here.
