AMD Phenom 9850 X4 Black Edition CPU Review :: Test System and Software

Author: Ben Sun · 03-30-2008 · Category: Hardware - Processors

The test setup was a bit interesting in that the first motherboard we tried failed out of the box, a MSI K9A motherboard we bought out of MWave, which is a Phenom certified board, what a pain that was. The tests used here are the same as the last CPU review, the E8500. Note that due to the motherboard being different there is some small difference in the test platforms between the two.
