No integrated graphics chipset can run Crysis with any degree of performance without turning down the graphics options. The HD3200 graphics chip does not have the performance to run this game in DX10 mode, with even 800x600 resolutions being choppy with High settings. Turning down the game settings to Low allowed the game to run in DirectX 10 mode.

Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars was the third installment in one of the longest running game series Command and Conquer. As a RTS (Real Time Strategy) game, C+C3 is well suited to integrated graphics as you can play it on virtually every graphics chipset around. The HD3200 was able to play this game without difficulty with 1024x768 being the sweet spot. Call Of Duty 4 is the latest in the Call Of Duty series of games for the PC. The fourth installment is set in the modern era with modern weapons and units like the AK-47 and US soldiers. The game played well at 800x600, but upping the resolution made the game unplayable with the integrated graphics especially when I turned on the settings.

Setting up the RS780 motherboard was problematic at first. The onboard SATA AHCI controller wouldn't recognize the two Western Digital Raptor HDDs at the same time. Trying to enable RAID 0 mode on the two drives was frustrating and in the end I had to run the performance and stability tests in single HDD mode. Otherwise, the setup went without a hitch with the 4850e Athlon CPU pre-installed by AMD and the drivers working right out of the box. One note about enabling Hybrid Crossfire, you need to enable Surround View and Crossfire in the drivers for it to work.
