Even though we were basically testing out the cooling system we still ran the system through the gauntlet of tests we use in any VGA or CPU review. All tests other than one instance of 3DMark were run in Windows Vista. The system was tested for compliance in both XP and Vista, and passed all burn in and looped tests done in a continuous 24 hour cycle after a VGA card exchange. We usually run the tests three times and balance the scored, but time being an issue we only ran the tests a single time in this review. We are shifting all our tests to a Window’s Vista OS environment and will dropping all XP test by the end of November, this Xmas its all about Vista folks. I know many still think Vista is before its time, but I have grown to like it much better than XP in many ways and use it in all my systems at work and at home.
