Side Shot
You will notice right off the bat that EVGA has done a bit of color changeup on their SSC Edition card. EVGA gives us a bit of the blues on their SSC Edition card, Gone is the standard Green and Black to be replaced by EVGA’s blue on black scheme, which looks really nice as you can see in pics 1 through 4. The card has an active cooler and heatsinks on the memory under the plastic cover for better heat dissipation.

Card I/O
The card is single slot solution, which takes up less space and only requires a single six-pin power connector. Based upon the latest PCI 2.0 standard, the board still works on motherboards with the PCIe graphics interface. The SLI connector is easy to access and should have no problems working with most SLI bridge connectors. The rear I/O offers dual DVI and a single SVGA output, but still no native HDMI is to be seen on NVIDIA cards.

Sticker
All NVIDIA 8 Series cards use a set of screws to hold the fan and heatsink assembly on the card. It can be removed quite easily if you want to use an aftermarket cooling device, such as a liquid based system. Warranty information is confirmed by the serial number located on the little sticker on the back of your card. EVGA has designed the SSC Edition slightly different than their competitors, and this stands out one the 8800GT. The single slot and single power connection requirements are bound to be a winner with many users.
