This test had to be run in Win XP as it would not start in Vista. The Intel platform has a clear lead in this set of tests which are based on professional level graphic design and rendering. 3Ds MAX is not a toy or play-around with program, but a professional level tool. Most systems that run this in the 3D world are either Rainbow or Sun based systems that cost around fifteen to twenty thousand dollars to get a basic system. The Intel V8 is an excellent entry level platform for those wanting to learn and hone their 3D program skills. This program is pricey and not readily available for the public for testing. This program was run at a resolution of 1680X1050 Widescreen.
