Side Shot
After a while of sticking my nose in this thing I found I was very satisfied to include this monitor in my test labs as the staple monitor for motherboard and single card VGA testing. The monitor's controls are easy to reach and use, being located directly in the front right side of the monitor screen for ergonomic access. Games, movies and general web browsing all looked excellent on the HANNS-G HW-223DPB. One thing that certainly cannot be beat is the low price tag associated with this monitor as almost anyone who can afford a PC can afford this monitor.
If you are going to be writing your next novel or write on the PC for a living, the text is a bit on the low end of the spectrum in some circumstances and is not the best aspect of the monitor. Beyond that, this is an excellent product that is perfect for gamers, those who just surf the net and anyone looking to just simply upgrade to bigger visual real-estate. Availability is very good and the monitor can be purchased at many an e-tailor, the warranty a decent three years and the company has offices around the world. I am giving this monitor our Hot Product Award, and anyone who has still has an old CRT should throw it out and buy the HW-223DPB and move into the 22" world. It's only about $240.00 give or take a buck or two!
