The performance on the 8800 Ultra was amazing to say the least; it's faster than anything currently available over the counter. In many cases the card was limited by the motherboard and CPU used in testing, the FX-62 just doesn't have the juice to power the card with the utmost power that a Quad Core Extreme CPU might or even a Core 2 CPU would. Once we move to Vista it is likely that our video card test platform will be updated to an even more powerful system with Quad-Core being the CPU base and DDR3.
