I can only hope that this is not the shinning star product of Data-Tec. It looks as if they rushed to be among the first to launch an ESATA HDD enclosure, not taking into account that its usefulness will be limited with ESATA connections alone. Between the lack of thought and the even more apparent lack of craftsmanship this HDD enclosure puts itself damn close to being useless. With a current market flooded with HDD enclosures a manufacture has to employ careful planning and flawless execution to merely produce a viable product let alone one that will stand above the rest. I fell this is not only a strike out for Data-Tec but an expulsion from the game. I recommend you avoid the product at all costs as there are plenty of other ways to waste your hard earned cash.
