So what can we take from the performance of the 4600+? It's close enough to the 5000+ as to be a reasonable substitute for those that don't want to spend $500. The increased cache on the 5000+ and the slight clock speed difference makes for a better CPU, but at a higher cost. The 3800+ performs pretty well, better than my 2.4GHz single core 3800+ did.
