I'm a big Star Trek fan and fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy books. Star Trek is in a bit of a break as there is no television series in production since the end of Enterprise, but the 11th movie is due in 2008. Bethsheda Soft has released a new game in the tradition of Star Trek, Star Trek Legacy. The game plays wonderfully on the X1950 Pro from DIAMOND with 1280x1024 and 2x AA 16x AF fully playable.

Need For Speed Carbon is the latest installment in the Need For Speed series. The game is a street racing game that has seen a yearly update since the first one was released in the Voodoo Graphics days. The latest game in the series uses Pixel and Vertex Shaders throughout and is a bit of a machine hog. The DIAMOND X1950 Pro was able to play it successfully at 1280x1024 4x AA 16x AF smoothly. Battlefield 2142 is the latest game in the EA series that started with Battlefield 1942 back in 2003. The game is a team FPS game set in the future with Mechs, futuristic helicopters and more. The X1950 Pro played BF2142 with ease, fully playing the game at the resolution of 1600x1200 2x AA 16x AF without issue.
