Oblivion makes extensive use of Pixel and Vertex Shaders 2.0, and HDR. The grass is dynamically generated, meaning that no two runs of Oblivion are exactly the same. The use of HDR is prevalent throughout. With HDR enabled everything looks correctly lighted. With HDR disabled the environment looks dull by comparison, as the darkest part of a scene is only 256x darker than the brightest part. The game was playable at up to 2048x1536 with no AA no AF HDR on.

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is the game that's bundled with the 7900GS card. I'm a big fan of Tom Clancy and his military thrillers including: The Hunt For Red October, Cardinal of the Kremlin, and the Sum of All Fears. Ghost Recon falls within the "Clancy Verse". Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter takes place in the future and is a squad based game. The game plays pretty well on the 7900GS, playable up to 1600x1200 without AA and AF.

F.E.A.R. was the scariest and best looking game of 2005 in my opinion. Alma and Paxton Fettel were two of the scariest creations in computer video games I've ever seen. The expansion pack to F.E.A.R, FEAR Extraction Point was released a few days ago. Using the same graphics engine as the original, Extraction Point is another game that showcases the 7900GS. The game was playable up to 1280x960 with 2x AA and 16x AF.
