Company of Heroes is the latest RTS game released by THQ in the last few weeks. RTS stands for Real-Time Strategy and is represented by such games as Command and Conquer 3 which is coming out next year and Company of Heroes. Set during World War II, this game has you take on the Germans Army with your soldiers, tanks and paratroopers. The X1950XTX played the game up to 1920x1200 resolution with 4x AA and 16x AF enabled.
Oblivion is the latest RPG from Bethsheda Softworks, makers of such fine Role-Playing Games as Morrowind and Elder Scrolls Redguard. If you haven't picked it up already I would suggest buying it because it is visually stunning, addictive and has well over 100 hours of gameplay. ATI cards have the ability to run this game with AA and HDR enabled at the same time with the "Chuck" Patch. The game is visually stunning even without AA enabled, but with it enabled it takes the visuals to a whole new level of realism, as jaggies are eliminated. 1600x1200 with 4x AA and HDR enabled was fully playable.
Tomb Raider Legend is Eidos's latest game in the successful adventure franchise that started many years ago on the Playstation game console. EIDOS decided to include Next Generation content including radiosity-like lighting, special water effects and HDR is available for cards like the X1950XTX with Shader Model 3.0. The X1950XTX played the game flawlessly with 1600x1200 nearly fully playable.
