The XFX 7950GT card came in one of XFX's trademark boxes. On the cover of the box is XFX's mascot along with icons representing what is included with the video card. The rear of the box has a list of the main features of the 7950GT and pictures from games that represent those features. The size of the box is necessitated by the Silent cooling system on the card.

XFX started including games with their video cards last year with Battlefield 2 and Quake4 with selected cards. Current games are always welcome additions to a video card bundle if the card as it shows off the effects possible with the card, giving you a taste of what your card can do. The problem with game bundles is that the games often get old fast.

Tom Clancy used to be my favorite writer of techno-thriller books. Hunt for Red October, The Sum of All Fears and other books are excellent examples of the genre. Books in his "universe" are commonly known as "Clancyverse" books among his fans. One of the spin-offs of his books has been video games including Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is the latest game in the series and XFX decided to include it in the bundle.

XFX chose to include everything you need to use the video card to the fullest extent. Two DVI-I to D-Sub adapters allows you to use dual monitors of your choosing, whether its LCD or CRT. The Y/PrB/PR cable is used for HDTVs and the TV-Out cable is used for normal television sets. The User's manual is useful for anyone installing their first video card.

XFX Support is pretty good for their retail video cards. They offer a Double Lifetime Warranty on all retail cards. Most companies that offer a Lifetime Warranty only offer it with the original owner. XFX feels that if you want to give or sell or trade your card to someone else the Warranty should transfer to the new owner as well. XFX offers Toll-Free Technical Support for their cards you can call their TS team 24/7.
