It's been long enough now that you readers don't need an explanation of the rules of this road - just a synopsis of the memory testing methods. For the time being, I'm sticking to my guns, and running the usual Super Pi, and Sandra runs. In upcoming months, memory latency and 3D Mark will be added to the roster, to give a better idea of overall system performance. As an aside to the performance aspect, it seems that whenever memory is set to CAS 3 at 800 (or more) MHz on this board, its performance falls below that of similar clocks, though using the CAS 4 latency. Why this occurs is but a mystery to me, perhaps one that will be solved when a Core 2 Duo chip finally graces this motherboard. Anyway, enough prattling, it's time to perform!
