ASUS EN7600GT Silent Video Card Review :: Test Setup and Procedures

Our new test platform for video cards was instituted with the launch of the AMD AM2 platform. The 5000+ is clocked at 2.6GHz, with two cores. As we go into 2007, more and more high-end computers will be sold with two cores on a single die. 3Dmark03 is rather dated, as is Aquamark 3 and Far Cry. I decided to add Oblivion to our test suite, as it's a great game. FRAPS was used to measure frame rates in Anvil, a town in the game for a complete walk through the town.
