It's always interesting to find a giant in cooling on the show floor - after all, with tones of copper, enough liquid to fill a small ocean, and much needed fan power to move the entire convention center about, these guys really can steal the show sometimes. Situated oh so conveniently and precariously on a corner, Zalman stood out thanks to its atmosphere, and the absolutely gigantic towering coolers on their tables. What really caught your eye was the reserator, its subsequent fan attachment, and of course the Reserator 2. The Reserator 2 is a shorter but better designed version of the original model, equipped with an inbuilt flow meter, as so to reduce places in the loop from which liquid can escape at any given time. In order to cool the componentry of your system, Zalman had several water blocks on display, for processors and memory alike.
From here, a huge portion of the booth was dedicated to heatsinks, both past and present, which showed off the roots and current successes of Zalman's cooling lineups. Unfortunately, with many of these heatsinks already existing, or reviewed, Zalman's booth really seemed to be more of a stockroom showcase, through which the manufacturers could have moved their historic stock. Heck, the booth didn't even have a gigantic CNPS9500 to bring the public's interest to them. Overall, it was somewhat disappointing, especially compared to Cooler Master.
