While normally there'd be coverage of a booth here (and to be precise, FSP actually does have a booth), the coverage will be of their suite, and more specifically, what inside of it is relevant to you, the enthusiasts and users. On display at the right of the room, FSP's entire upcoming lineup, including some of their modern items was on display. While the Epsilon models are soon to be on market, they are nowhere near to what caught my eye. At the very end of the table, a small sky blue box sat, a very unassuming PSU it would seem, which fit perfectly into your standard (140x140x89)mm casing. In that casing, though was a full blown, quad rail fed by quad regulator 1KW PSU! It's design focuses on 80%+ efficiency, as well as compatibility with any chassis, shape or form. Unfortunately, this unit is still some time off, as there are a few minor tweaks to be made before it's done. Still, it's nice to see that engineering has reached a point where we compact this sort of power into that size. Now if only the rest of the industry would follow a lead (though some do), and spend engineering dollars making more efficient, and faster products, rather than just boosting clock speeds and including oven mitts.
