As far as gaming goes this card can play any game at any resolution and kick ass and take names in the process. There is no game title on the market currently that can give the XFX 7950GX2 a run for its money. Even F.E.A.R gets shredded by the XFX 7950 at its highest playable resolution. By default the game only gives a 1280X1024 maximum, but you can edit the performance tab to play at a resolution of 2038X1536. The XFX7950 played F.E.A.R at 50FPS with AA and AF enabled at a resolution of 2038X1536. How can it get much better than that? As far as sheer game shredding ability the card is unmatched in its class. The NVIDIA AA and AF is not as clear as ATI's X1900XTX, but what it lacks in finesse it makes up for in raw power. Unfortunately in some games like Oblivion the NVIDIA cards do not allow both HDR and AA at the same time, which makes the ATI card look better in that game. The real time lighting effects of HDR cannot be beat for having light look more realistic than before, but without AA enabled, the lines of many building and objects have those nasty jaggies we all hate. You want the fastest gaming card around, look no further than the XFX 7950GX2 XXX Edition card. It eats games and spits them out in unparalleled pixel packing performance.
