With the recent introduction of the AMD AM2 platform, it is likely we might move our video card test platform to the new CPU platform in the very near future. NVIDIA's new nForce 590 SLI series has optimizations for 7900 GTX cards and above when working in SLI and it should make a noticeable difference in performance with the new faster dual-core CPUs. The FX-57 CPU is the fastest available single core CPU and a good indicator of performance.
