GIGABYTE ships their X1900XTX card in a red box sporting the name of the card, the included software, the major features of the video card and a cool looking CGI warrior on the front. As readers of my reviews know, I like video cards to come with some games to play. This allows the purchaser to get some extra value for the $500+ this card retails for. The card comes with CounterStrike: Source and Xpand Rally, two rather dated games.

Software bundle

Hardware includes a TV-Out cable to allow you to play PC games on your television set, a VIVO cable, two DVI-I to D-Sub adapters and the video card itself. GIGABYTE's bundle is above and beyond that found on most cards, only ASUS includes extras like a Webcam or a Leather CD case beyond that found on the GIGABYTE card.

Hardware Bundle

One weak point over the years has been ATI's driver support. A few years ago ATI drivers would be released nearly yearly, with few updates and lots of stability problems. Today ATI drivers are released nearly every month. The latest Catalyst drivers are the 6.5s, the fifth one released in 2006. One thing about ATI drivers are they are all WHQL certified.
