What's really nice to see to this cooler is that with the inclusion of so much mounting hardware (enough to fill out a good section of tabletop, as you'll see later on in the review). On the whole, things look as if they will be fairly quiet, when throttle down that is. Users should make note, however, that in order to get the best performance from the unit, having an open 5 1/4" bay both above and below the cooler is a necessity. Moreover, having a way to intake air into the case overtop the unit, and exhaust it out of the case below will also help to drop temperatures, to the tune of the same amount as the included auxiliary 80mm radiator. The only point of concern is that the cooler does not present any ratings in terms of thermal capacity, but then again, considering that Evercool provides no memory heatsinks for the video cards, I'd expect that it's intended for lower power units. The other issue (albeit minor) to note is that with copper and steel present in the same loop, the steel sections may begin to rust over time, unless of course they are protected in some way, whether via corrosion inhibiting liquids, or special coatings. On the plus side, Steel takes far longer to corrode in a loop with copper than traditional aluminum would, so there are no worries there for the time being.
