Outlandishly fast, straight from the box. Perhaps the most impressive thing I've found to Corsair over time is that they've got a beautiful balance of a forgiving nature, and raw power in the products. With the sheer ease which I was able to set this product up on a supported motherboard, I have no qualms recommending it to User Type 2 - that is, those with Extreme Edition processors, just looking for memory to keep up. But, that's not all folks. The proof was in the pudding here - with the capability to pound back extreme speeds with excruciatingly tight latencies, even users who can't take advantage of the full speed of the modules will have a fighting chance at a major speed boost.
