ASUS's X1800XT TOP card was provided last year for Crossfire testing. Unfortunately, due to us not having a Crossfire Edition Master card, the review was delayed till this year. ASUS's card is overclocked above the standard X1800XT and has an external power brick. For purposes of testing, I used the ASUS X1800XT TOP card with an ATI Crossfire Edition Master card.

Installing the ASUS X1800XT TOP card in Crossfire mode is simple. Install the master card into the indicated slot on the motherboard, install the ASUS card into the other. After hooking up the Crossfire cable to both cards, and power cords, turn on the computer. Upon installing the Catalyst drivers off ATI's website, an option for Crossfire mode will appear on the menu. Check the check mark, enable Crossfire and you're good to go.
