The really cool things about the 3D Galaxy are its looks, it design and its cool blue cooling liquid that can be seen through the tubes of the system. A thing that I liked about it was the way it was easily installed into the 3D Aurora case, you can tell they were designed to be a pair as together they make one really rocking system that has looks to kill to boot. Getting the system together was easier than many of the ones we have put together previously and that was a stress relief in itself. It had decent documentation that most users with half a brain should be able to follow if they are at least somewhat mechanically inclined.

We have done so many of these reviews now that most systems we just look at and install regardless of provided documentation, but from a users standpoint good instructions should always be provided, Gigabytes were better than most and at least in legible English. We used a really freaking hot CPU in this test setup in the form of the Intel Dual-Core and being Intel first venture into the Dual-Core market the little bugger ran so hot that liquid cooling was the only feasible solution to go with.

There are many liquid cooling solutions out there to choose from, the good things about the 3D Galaxy are it's really good looks, its ergonomic design and its price. As far as being the best cooling solution out there, no it's not that good of a solution, but it does provide adequate performance for moderate overclocking and in the role of a replacement for air cooling with style it fits in perfectly well. Installation into one of Gigabyte's latest 3D Aurora cases will prove to be a very simple task as the 3D series of products are designed to work cohesively together. Overall its something worth your attention if you are looking to build a custom rig that not only performs, but looks awesome as well, good job Gigabyte, for a first it's a damn good starting point product.
