These were some parts we had that previously were reviewed and just awaiting for a project like this to come along and put them to good use. We put them to great use actually and the system came out like a dream machine as you can see from the pictures.

Performance
Most users will either be looking to do extreme overclocking or just trying to just make their system have enhanced looks along with good cooling. The 3D Galaxy has enough cooling power to keep even the most demanding CPU running at reasonable temperature levels. Most CPUs being produced right now run cooler than the Intel 840 we used so as a replacement to an air cooling system this system would be more than capable for any CPU either AMD or Intel based. The system runs so quiet you can not even hear it in a quite room, which is very nice, especially after hearing systems with huge air-coolers that are just so damn noisy.
Considering the CPU the system had to contend with it performed well enough running with the CPU in its default state, but any overclocking was something that just was not going to be happening with the Intel 840 CPU. The system stayed at temperatures around 50-55 Celsius under full load and gaming, which is well within the standards of the CPUs running temps. The system remained stable throughout weeks of testing and no leaks or other problems occurred worth mentioning. All in all, the 3D Galaxy is a stable and ergonomic liquid cooling system that functions well enough to satisfy many users looking for something with style as well as performance.
