Overclocking was achieved with the XXX 7800GT, but nothing to grandstand about as the cards are already clocked fast straight from the factory and are almost maxed out performance wise as is in their default state. We only used really simple user friendly tools and the standard cooling without modifications to overclock, as this is what most end-users would be doing. I am sure with some voltage modifications and liquid cooling better results could be obtained. Going that extra step is a major event; it voids your warranty and is very risky to the card itself, so please be careful when attempting over zealous overclocking adventures.
