In either single card or SLI mode the 7800GT series in general are great top-end gaming cards. Resolutions of up to 1600X1280 were playable, although bumpy with a single card solution, and playable completely maxed out features wise in SLI mode. Even though it is starting to become a blasé thing to talk about F.E.A.R still is the game that makes your system put up or shut up as it hogs system and VGA recourses in a big way. I am still waiting for the next big game, but PC titles are becoming more sporadically released each year.
All your favorite titles will basically be eaten up and spit out by the power of dual XFX 7800GTX cards and there is currently nothing on the market that can daunt these XXX bad boys. I was thoroughly impressed with the gaming experience using the XXX 7800GT and saw no signs of instability with the cards themselves. Some games did have glitches in them and I saw a bit of screen tearing as well as strange screen aberrations, but with new drivers and patches I was able to eliminate any problems that occurred and get the games to play without error. Overall nothing was observed to sway anyone from this cards performance in the gaming arena.
