Asus VR Cooler Review :: Conclusion

For our closing remarks, I'd have to think that our comments on the performance will more than suffice - wow. At a great price with great performance, there's almost nothing not to love about this heatsink, apart from the disappointing lack of cross platform mounting. Nevertheless, the ability to cool the CPU effectively while chilling surrounding power circuitry as well as heatsinks is definitely something to look for. Perhaps the only issue is in the way that this heatsink leave your Northbridge entirely without airflow, which, while not a good idea, left no adverse results when testing on our ASUS P5AD2-E Premium, apart from a sweltering sink. Thus, it is with the highest regards that I'll recommend this heatsink to anyone with an ASUS motherboard, or rather any LGA motherboard that takes advantage of mofset heatsinks for that matter - provided the sink fits, you definitely won't be disappointed. Until next time everybody, keep riding the overclocking redline.
