The X800XL is designed to compete against NVIDIA's 6800GT card at the moment. In terms of raw performance, the A-I-W X800XL is near on par or higher than the 6800GT in virtually every important benchmark we use. With the release of NVIDIA's 7800GTX and 7800GT cards, the 6800GT has been dropped in price to compete with the X800XL.
