RTS (Real Time Strategy) is a genre I enjoy very much. Command and Conquer, its sequel, and the other games in the C+C universe are favorites of mine. Act of War was released earlier this year in this same vein. On the 6800GT from Asus I was able to play the game without issues up to the maximum resolution and settings. I played the game with 8 players' at the most intense map and hard settings and promptly got killed by the computer AI. The card wasn't at fault, as the game is extremely hard.
Half Life 2 was in my opinion, the best game released last year. The game redefined beautiful graphics on the PC platform, and had an extensive physics engine (Havok) allowing you to realistically break windows, move and break crates, and interact with objects around your environment. The 6800GT from Asus plays HL2 well. If you want to play this game, I would suggest a 6800GT class card. Another RTS that I've been playing around lately is Empire Earth 2. The original game was a lot of fun and in the vein of Age of Empires. To be honest, the game is a bit boring at first. As a big fan of the Age of Empires series, EE2 kind of grew on me. With the 6800GT I was able to comfortably play the game.
