The things that appeal to me most about either of these units are their ease of use when compared to many of the new breed of liquid coolers out there for purchase. Instructions that are well written and clearly defined help dramatically reduce setup times and make the entire process a much simpler task. If we had the instructions during our setup it would have made setup easier, but we knew the manual was not done when we reviewed the system and decided to just wing-it as they say.
Swiftech has once again made a couple of cooling products worthy of your spending dollars and they have done it in a unique style that makes them stand-out products. The 120-F is definitely the better choice for higher end CPUs as it performs a tad bit better than its little brother the 80-S. The 80-S will perform well in keeping stock CPUs at a cool state, but the advent overclocker will want the better cooling capabilities of the 120-F in their system. Liquid cooling is slowly becoming an accustomed thing to the avid PC enthusiast, and no longer considered the voodoo taboo thing that it was in its early days. We played with this unit for 45 days prior to this review as it was the cooling system in a dual 7800GTX setup that went from a FX-55 to a FX-57 system. We used this system in the lab for many CPU test platforms and as the main game machine and Swiftech's product kept the system cool through all phases of the PC's use. A solid Editor's Choice product is to be found here, good job Swiftech. On a final note Swiftech has now gone public and this should only help advance the company further in its endeavors to bring quality PC cooling parts to market.
