The X700 Pro from Gigabyte is being tested against a 6600GT and other cards in this price range. Unfortunately, I don't have an X800 card to compare it to at the moment. I will say that the X800 is supposed to have 12 pixel pipelines versus the 8 on the X700 Pro and a higher fillrate and memory bandwidth.
