SLI only currently works on the AMD platform at the moment. As our normal PCI Express video card test system is Intel based, I decided to use a fairly powerful Athlon 64 4000+ system to test the card. One note, I also tested 2 6800GTs in SLI mode for this review. To show the benefits of SLI I will test the two cards in HL2 and Doom 3 in 1280X1024 no AA no AF and 4x AA 8x AF mode. This will give a better sense of the performance difference between the two cards. It's going to be an interesting ride, so let's find out how it performs.
